GL-series saws utilize a heavy plate and Triple Chip Grind to provide a smooth cut for all glue line applications on either straight or shadow line rips saws. For best results, use GL saws for rip cutting only. Design features include large gullets, heavier plates and use of the proper clearances designed for this type of heavy duty cutting in both hard and soft woods.
